As a Baltimore Officiant, I will come to your wedding site.  Your site can be a home, garden, park, banquet hall, country club, ballroom, hotel, restaurant, yacht, etc.

Letting me know where, when, and how to get there; puts me at the right place at the right time.

 

 

Baltimore Weddings - Metropolitan Area & Suburbs

 

$365 to $705

 

Upon booking your wedding with me, you will receive a free wedding ceremony workbook with sample ceremonies, rituals, and beautiful readings.  In addition, you will receive a personalized draft ceremony, and a premarital questionnaire. 

 

There is a $50 nonrefundable deposit required to secure my services for your wedding day.  This deposit is subtracted from the total cost.

 

The above fees are based on wedding size, writing and revising the ceremony, traveling to and from the wedding site, rehearsal, wedding party direction and coordination, my time corresponding with you, officiating the ceremony, filing the county marriage license, and (if applicable) a holiday wedding fee ($60 is added to the base cost). 

 

Please Note:  All ceremonies require a valid marriage license or original marriage certificate (for previously married couples) that must be presented to me prior to my officiating the wedding ceremony.

I am, Reverend Starlene Joyner Burns, a Nondenominational - Interfaith Baltimore Wedding Minister and Baltimore Officiant.  In addition, I am the founder and director of SJB Ministries, LLC.  Further, I am currently an active minister at the National Spiritual Science Center (NSSC) in Washington, DC.

 

I studied four consecutive years at NSSC to become an ordained minister of Spiritual Science.  And I have prepared myself for the responsibilities of a nondenominational wedding minister, by receiving further training in the administration of the holy sacraments. 

 

Therefore, I am trained to perform: weddings, baby blessings, private baptisms, memorials, funerals (including pets), and other rites of passage.   I am compassionate, ethical, and  professional.  So I will work hard with you to ensure that your ceremony is memorable.  

 

I decided to perform weddings in Baltimore,  because I am a native Baltimorean.  Born in  Baltimore City in the late 50's, where I lived with my parents until age four.  Baltimore has changed a lot over the years, and I am always happy to come back just to see the transformation.

In addition my services will be extended to parts of the Eastern Shore that is within a 70 mile radius of my home in Bowie, Maryland.
