Kindly be aware of Maryland's two day waiting period for all marriages. Therefore you should plan on arriving in Maryland two days in advance to get your marriage license from the Prince George's County Circuit Court. The license will be issued the same day and effective within 48 hours.
Example:
A Friday ceremony requires you to get a license by Wednesday.
A Saturday ceremony requires you to get a license by Thursday.
A Sunday wedding requires you to get a license by Friday.
For the courthouse hours of operation, kindly visit the above link. Prior to leaving your home, I suggest that you call the courthouse and verify their schedule for that day.
